We are sending this message to notify you that on January 7th, 2025 we were notified that on December 28th, 2024 PowerSchool became aware of unauthorized access to certain personally identifiable information within the system (i.e. student/parent/staff names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and medical alerts).
PowerSchool is the cloud-based student/staff information system that Cyber Village Academy uses to store student and family information. Although the attacker obtained some of Cyber Village Academy’s demographic information, which included personally identifiable information, PowerSchool has stated that they believe the threat has been mitigated and the attacker was not able to use the information for anything malicious.
