What if I can't be home with my child on a Thursday or a Friday?
The study center is normally open and available to all students (including PASCAL students) on Thursdays and Fridays as well as other online days who would like to study independently, need some extra help, need a break from home or a variety of other reasons. Normal school behaviors are expected, and students who are on campus over lunchtime should bring their own lunches. Parents/guardians must sign in their student and pick them up by 3:30 pm when the center closes. Students need to be highly motivated and self-reliant on study center days to find success in a less structured learning environment where all curriculum is provided through an online platform. Adult support is available, but direct instruction in person does not occur on online school days.
