CVA’s Hybrid program blends the flexibility of online learning with the engagement of in-person experiences. Our hybrid model fosters academic success, social growth, and personal confidence by combining the strengths of both worlds in a supportive community.
How CVA’s Hybrid Program Works
The Hybrid program appeals to students and families who want the flexibility of online learning, the group interaction of in-person learning, and the personal attention that a small school can offer. Our dynamic fusion helps students develop skills in collaboration, organization, time management, and self-motivation.
On-Campus Learning
- Face-to-face instruction and collaboration
- Strong classroom community
Online Learning Days
- Structured lessons through CVA’s online platform
- Build independence and time-management skills
Support & Study Center
- Teacher guidance and regular check-ins
- Quiet workspace and academic support available at Study Center
On-Campus & Online K-12
K–5 Grade
- Monday–Thursday in-person learning at CVA
- Thursdays focus on hands-on learning experiences, reading, and math
- Friday flexibility with at-home learning or in-person Study Center support
6–8 Grade
- Monday–Wednesday in-person learning
- Study Center available on Thursdays and Fridays for individualized support
9–12 Grade
- Monday–Wednesday in-person learning
- Study Center available Thursdays, with additional support by appointment on Fridays

Is CVA the Right Fit for Your K – 5 Student?
We’ve structured our school week to ensure every student gets the specific attention and resources they need:
- Logistics Made Simple: We provide four days of transportation and food service for all students (Monday–Thursday), ensuring your child has the resources they need to succeed during the core academic week. Friday in-person support is available at our Study Center, so students can attend CVA in-person five days a week.
- The 4-Day Core (Monday–Thursday): These days are dedicated to high-impact focus on academics and in-person connection. This ensures a school experience that reduces overwhelm while supporting academic growth and individual learning styles.
- Structure With Flexibility: Fridays at CVA are different. Based on a student’s progress throughout the week, Friday provides dedicated time for individualized support where it’s needed most or an opportunity to dive deeper into hands-on projects started during the week.
