Accessibility Statement

Cyber Village Academy is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including students, families, staff and community members with disabilities. We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard required for public schools under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and used by the State of Minnesota.

What we have done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Text and buttons meet WCAG color-contrast requirements.
  • Pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on small screens without losing content.
  • Images have text alternatives, and forms have labels and clear error messages.
  • Moving content does not play automatically, and animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
  • We test the site regularly with automated tools and keyboard checks.

Documents and video

We are updating current documents (handbooks, enrollment and meal forms, calendars and policies) so they work with screen readers, and adding accurate captions to our videos. Board minutes, audits and annual reports from before 2023 are kept for reference in clearly marked archive sections and have not all been updated. If you need any of these in another format, we will provide it.
